The clean, safe, and beautiful natural surroundings are a crucial element to the enjoyment of the board sports we love, and the Ron Jon Beach ‘N Boards Fest strives to be a sustainable event. Working with Keep Brevard Beautiful, the event recycles or appropriately disposes of all the event’s byproducts.

Our official Sustainability sponsor, Volcom, provides educational information on marine waste and on sustainability and recycling. Volcom organizes daily beach clean ups during the event and also hosts a Sea Oat planting on the Saturday of Beach ‘N Boards Fest in which about 200 Sea Oats are planted in the dunes behind our main site.

It is our hope to raise more awareness about the importance of eco-conservation and beach preservation in the surfing and board sports communities. We are planning on making Beach ‘N Boards Fest a leader in the southeast in the area of green practices and will be modeling many of the practices developed by eco-innovators at festivals like Bonnaroo.

Please help us keep our beach and surrounding areas clean by utilizing the recycling bins that will be available!
