Surf

The grand daddy of all boarding sports, surfing is at the epicenter of Beach ‘N Boards Fest.
Pro Surfing:
Ron Jon/Quiksilver Pro Junior and the Ron Jon/Roxy Pro Junior
Aside from great free surfing opportunities up and down Cocoa Beach, the event will offer up two high-level Association of Surfing Professionals-sanctioned tournaments. The contests will be held during the three best days of surf conditions during the festival’s timeframe of March 6-10th.
The Ron Jon/Quiksilver Jr. Pro and the Ron Jon/Roxy Jr. Pro will each be ASP 3-star events and the richest such competitions now scheduled for the US East Coast in 2013. The events will draw all of the best U.S. mainland, Hawaii and Latin American surfers age 20 and under and will offer up valuable points toward the surfers’ qualifying for the Junior Pro World Championships in Australia. The mens contest will feature a $15,000.00 cash purse, and the womens contest will offer a $5,000.00 cash purse. The events are equally weighted with the ASP.
